Anchor Academy is a liberal arts school founded in 1987 with the goal of educating, nurturing, supporting and motivating students to become productive, happy and successful members of society.
The setting is much more relaxed and students are allowed more freedom of expression where classes are very small with plenty of individual attention.
The Anchor curriculum includes three tracks:
The Interdisciplinary Honors Program is designed for students who are not only academically suited, but also has a character suited for the challenge of an Honors College Preparatory curriculum design.
The Standard Academic Program is designed for the student who can best be defined as a bright, creative student who will thrive with personal attention, small classes, motivation, organization support and a solid academic foundation.
The Specific Support Program is designed for students who does best when their specific learning styles/needs are understood and can be accommodate by educators who have the experience and caring to address their needs.
Middle School curriculum concentrates on a strong core academic design as well as tailoring programs to meet individual needs.
